Google is watching

As technology continues to advance, it’s becoming more common for companies to collect personal data from users. Google is one of the most popular companies that collects data from its users. While it can be helpful in terms of providing personalized search results and recommendations, there are times when Google’s spying can feel intrusive and unnecessary.

Fortunately, there are steps you can take to keep Google from spying on you. One of the easiest ways to do this is by unchecking the voice and audio and chrome history options in the settings.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to uncheck these options:

1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots in the top right corner.

2. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to the “Privacy and security” section and click on it.

4. The first option you should see is “Site settings”. Click on that.

5. Scroll down to the “Permissions” section and click on “Microphone”.

6. You’ll see the “Ask before accessing” toggle switch. Turn that off to stop Google from accessing your voice and audio.

7. To stop Google from collecting your Chrome history, go back to the “Privacy and security” section in the Chrome settings.

8. Click on “Clear browsing data”.

9. You’ll see several options to choose from, including “Browsing history”, “Cookies and other site data”, and “Cached images and files”. Check the boxes next to the options you want to clear.

10. Click on “Clear data” to remove the selected data from your Chrome history.

By following these steps, you can keep Google from spying on you by unchecking voice and audio and Chrome history in the settings. Remember to regularly check these options to ensure that you’re controlling what Google collects from you.
